Maxime Carrière founded M.C. Jeweller Originals in 2018 with a single principle: every piece leaves his bench only when it is genuinely exceptional. Trained at the Alexandre Diamond Setting School in Belgium — one of the most exacting programmes in the world — and at Georgian College's Jewellery and Metals programme, Maxime sets every stone by hand and crafts every piece entirely in-house in Barrie, Ontario. The result is jewellery that competes with the major houses on quality, but offers something they cannot: a direct relationship with the person who made it.
