Maxime Carrière — founder and master jeweller, M.C. Jeweller Originals
Founder & Master Jeweller

Maxime Carrière

Maxime Carrière is a first-generation jeweller — which means he earned his place at the bench without inherited shortcuts. He trained at the Alexandre Diamond Setting School in Belgium, one of the most technically demanding programmes in the discipline, and graduated from the Jewellery and Metals Programme at Georgian College in Canada. He founded M.C. Jeweller Originals in Barrie, Ontario in 2018.

Every piece is made entirely in-house. Maxime casts, forms, and finishes each commission himself — and sets every stone by hand. This is not a marketing position. It is how he works, every piece, every time. His clients range from first-time buyers to those who have owned jewellery from the world's major houses and wanted something genuinely different: a direct relationship with the person who made it, and a standard of attention that a boutique cannot replicate.
